Our own Collin Loboda finished 2nd at the District 2 competition! The judges told him it was a one point difference between first and second. So close! He did a phenomenal job, and we are very proud of him. It’s hard being that close to nationals, but we had a great time in Pittsburgh. We hope all of the District 2 winners go on to win in Ann Arbor. District 2 is the UA powerhouse, with a pile of national champions.
During our stay in town, we had the opportunity to explore the various attractions in Pittsburgh. As part of our itinerary, on Tuesday, the group visited PNC Park, courtesy of DeWalt tools, to enjoy a Pirates game. Following that, the apprentices indulged in a lively evening at a cocktail party held at the Rivers Casino. The competition concluded with an awards banquet and celebration at Acrisure Stadium, creating a memorable finale to our time in Pittsburgh.
