Practice Tests

Preparing for the Apprentice Assessment:

The Apprentice Assessment will assess your judgment, decision-making skills, and ability to handle workplace situations. This type of assessment is commonly used to evaluate how candidates would respond to various job-related scenarios. You will be presented with hypothetical situations and asked to choose the most appropriate response or rank responses in order of effectiveness.

Preparing for the Math Assessment:

To prepare for the Math Assessment, we recommend reviewing basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Additionally, the assessment will focus on trade-related math skills, including:

  • Reading a tape measure and converting measurements
  • Working with decimals and fractions, especially as they apply to the trades

Focusing on these practical math skills will help you succeed in both the assessment and your future trade work.

For practice resources, you may want to visit Khan Academy www.khanacademy.org or other online tools that focus on trade-related math topics.
